Hi Trafalgar, we arrived at Canara School this morning to an amazing welcome. As we walked through the school gates, we were met by some school girls in traditional dress, who led us in procession to the door of the school. We felt so important! Garlands of scented flowers were presented to us and placed around our necks. The children then marched into the school assembly, accompanied by the school band. In the assembly, the morning yoga session relaxed our nerves. However, not for long as Mrs Taylor was asked to sing a song in spanish in front of the whole school. The only one she knew was 'La Cucuracha', which is about a cockroach. Mrs Assemakis tried not to laugh!

Monsieur Hibou had a less stressful journey than the teachers and is enjoying himself in India.
